What to include

Tell us your JSX Copy Editor version, VS Code version, what you expected, what happened, and the steps to reproduce the issue. Share a small example only if needed, with private code, credentials and personal information removed.

Quick help

  • Open the editor: make a local .jsx or .tsx file active, press Ctrl+Shift+P (Cmd+Shift+P on Mac), and run Copy Editor: Open.
  • Missing text: only literal JSX text is supported. Dynamic expressions, props, maps, conditionals and attributes are skipped.
  • Source changed: reopen Copy Editor to refresh its source locations, then make your edits again.
  • After Save Changes: save the changed files normally in VS Code. Use VS Code Undo to reverse the edits.
