Brownsmith Dynamics · VS Code extension
Updated · 19 October 2026
JSX Copy Editor privacy policy
This policy describes JSX Copy Editor version 1.0.1. The extension reads supported JSX text from the active VS Code document and statically traversed local components, then applies your edits through VS Code’s workspace edit system.
Source code and edits
Source text is processed locally by the extension. When you run Copy Editor: Open, the extension reads the active editor document and local component files reached through static imports. Your edits are written to the VS Code document buffers through a workspace edit. VS Code can undo those edits. You save files in VS Code as usual, and the panel refreshes after a successful save.
Information collection
The extension has no backend, AI service, network connection, analytics, telemetry, account system or extension configuration changes. It does not send source code or other workspace content to Brownsmith Dynamics or another service.
Availability and updates
Version 1.0.1 is prepared for VS Code Marketplace submission. This page does not offer a download. This policy will be updated if the extension’s privacy practices change.
