PPDF brings common page-management and image-to-PDF tasks into a Chrome extension. Choose a source file, make the changes you need, review the result, and download a new file.

  Compress image-heavy PDFs

  Choose High Quality to keep more image detail, Balanced for a moderate reduction, or Smallest for aggressive image reduction. Compression targets supported embedded JPEG images. Selectable PDF text and vector artwork remain PDF objects; text inside scanned images can lose detail. Unsupported images are preserved, and a smaller output is not guaranteed.

  Organize pages

  Merge PDFs, split selected page ranges, extract or delete pages, reorder pages, and rotate pages.

  Create image PDFs

  Turn JPG and PNG images into a PDF and add page numbers.

  Keep your source file

  Operations create a result for you to download; the original file remains unchanged by the extension.

02 / How to use it

Choose files, make changes, review, download.

   Open PPDF in Chrome and choose the PDF or images for the task.

   Select a PDF operation or image-to-PDF workflow, then provide the relevant page selection or ordering.

   Review the available preview or result details, then download the processed copy if it is right for you.

Large documents can use substantial device memory. Keep a separate copy of important source documents, especially when they contain interactive or document-level features.

03 / Scope and limits

A focused toolkit with evolving compatibility.

PPDF is designed for local compression, page organization, and image-to-PDF creation. Compression targets supported image content; a PDF with little eligible image data may not become smaller, and image re-encoding can affect visual quality.

PDFs can contain forms, outlines, attachments, metadata, layers, signatures, and other features beyond page content. These may not be preserved reliably by page operations. Encrypted files may be unavailable. Review the downloaded result and retain the original when those features matter.

Version 1.0.0 retains High Quality behavior, strengthens Balanced compression, and makes Smallest more aggressive. The interface and icons use Brownsmith Dynamics company teal.

The broad product scope is intended to remain steady as interface details, browser compatibility, and reliability continue to improve. This page describes capabilities at a high level; it is not a promise that every PDF behaves identically.
